We want you to be happy with your order. This policy explains how returns, refunds and replacements work at Leflorea Aquarium Supplies, operated by Roots And Roses LLC.
30-day returns on unopened items
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund, as long as the item is unused, unopened and in its original packaging with any seals intact.
Items that cannot be returned
For health and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned once opened or used:
- Fish food and treats
- Water conditioners, treatments, test strips and other aquarium chemicals
- Substrate, gravel and plant nutrients
- Filter cartridges, pads and other filter media
Opened or used equipment can be returned only if it is defective (see below).
Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged, is defective, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and a photo of the problem. We will send a replacement or give you a full refund, including the original shipping cost. You will not need to pay return shipping for these items, and in many cases we will not need the item back.
How to start a return
- Email contact@leflorea.com (or use our contact form) with your order number and the item(s) you want to return.
- We will reply with return instructions and the return address. Please do not send items back without contacting us first — our business address is not a returns warehouse.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it using a trackable method.
Return shipping costs
For returns of unopened items you no longer want, you are responsible for the return shipping cost. If the return is due to our error or a damaged or defective item, we cover it.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through PayPal within 5 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional days for the refund to appear.
Original shipping charges are not refunded unless the return is due to our error or a damaged or defective item.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, email us as soon as possible. We can cancel orders that have not shipped yet and refund the full amount. Once an order has shipped, the return process above applies.
